NEWBORN REGISTRATION IN INDONESIA

• Birth Report: registration of the child’s birth with the Indonesian Immigration Office;
• ITK: the child’s stay permit, issued based on one parent’s visa.

1. You send us the child’s date of birth, information about the parents’ visas, and the available documents.
2. We check your situation and tell you which documents need to be prepared.
3. We help you obtain the Birth Report from the Indonesian Immigration Office.
4. After the birth is registered, we arrange the child’s ITK stay permit.
5. We inform you when the documents are ready.

If some documents are not yet available, our manager will explain in which order they need to be obtained.

The following documents are usually required:

• the child’s birth certificate;
• the child’s passport;
• a photo of the child;
• the parents’ passports;
• the parents’ valid visas or KITAS;
• a marriage certificate, if available.

Depending on your situation, the Indonesian Immigration Office may request additional documents.

The registration must be completed within 60 days after the child is born, so we recommend starting the process as early as possible.

The processing time depends on the parents’ visa types, the available documents, and the current requirements of the Indonesian Immigration Office.

After checking your situation, we will provide an estimated processing time.

The child must remain in Indonesia during the application process.

If the registration process has already started, it must be completed before the child leaves the country.

Birth Report: 1,500,000 IDR

The price of the ITK application is calculated individually and depends on:

• the parents’ visa types;
• the immigration requirements at the time of application;
