BRIDGING VISA IN BALI

VOA and B1 visas cannot be converted directly into a KITAS. In these cases, you first need to obtain a 60-day Bridging Visa. It allows you to extend your legal stay and prepare your KITAS application.

A Bridging Visa may also be used when switching from one type of KITAS to another, for example, from an Investor KITAS to another KITAS type.

We will check your situation free of charge and tell you whether you need a Bridging Visa in your case.

If you are in Indonesia on a VOA or B1 visa, we recommend contacting us at least 7 days before your ITK expires.

ITK is the stay permit you receive after entering Indonesia with a visa. You do not need to apply for it separately.

If your ITK expires in less than 7 days, the possibility of obtaining a Bridging Visa will be assessed individually.

If you are switching from one type of KITAS to another, we recommend starting the process at least 35 days before your current KITAS expires.

To apply, you will need:

• a copy of the photo page of your passport;
• your current visa or KITAS;
• your ITK (Temporary Stay Permit issued automatically when you enter Indonesia, including Bali — it is given to you upon arrival and confirms your legal stay in the country);
• the expiration date of your ITK;
• a selfie taken against a light background;
• your WhatsApp number;
• your residential address in Indonesia with a Google Maps link.

Our manager may request additional documents if necessary.

During the application process:

• you cannot leave Indonesia until the process is complete;
• you can travel within Indonesia without restrictions;
• if you are also applying for a KITAS, we recommend waiting until it is issued before buying flight tickets.

The price of a Bridging Visa is 3,500,000 IDR.

If you plan to apply for a KITAS immediately after the Bridging Visa, our manager will calculate the total package price.

The Bridging Visa price does not include the KITAS application unless the manager has specifically confirmed a package price.
